Deck overview

This is a mono-black Knight tribal midrange deck built around Haakon, Stromgald Scourge's unique graveyard casting engine. The plan is to put Haakon, Stromgald Scourge into the graveyard, cast him from there, and then repeatedly cast Knight spells from the yard for relentless board presence. Nine copies of Nazgul form the core army, growing via Ring-temptation triggers from Call of the Ring, Inherited Envelope, and the Nazgul themselves. Value engines like Syr Konrad, the Grim, Midnight Reaper, and Teval's Judgment convert every death and every card leaving the yard into cards, tokens, or life loss. There are no infinite combos; wins come from go-wide Knight combat (backed by Kindred Dominance as a one-sided wipe), incremental Konrad drains, and finishers such as Smitten Swordmaster's Adventure and Summon: Primal Odin. The deck is a grindy, recursive tribal strategy that thrives once the graveyard is stocked.
