Deck overview

This deck utilizes Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute to turn +1/+1 counter placement into direct burn damage against opponents. Built around a dense core of counter-accumulating creatures and artifact synergies, the primary game plan aims to establish a game-ending two-card damage loop between the commander and The Red Terror or War Elemental. Whenever a counter is placed on an attacking creature, Casey Jones deals damage to an opponent, which triggers The Red Terror to add a counter, repeating the sequence indefinitely until the table is eliminated. Outside of the infinite combo, the deck can apply significant combat pressure through scaling threats like Big Mother Mouser, Shivan Devastator, and Threefold Thunderhulk, supported by damage multipliers like City on Fire and extra combat steps from Combat Celebrant. While light on fast mana and tutors, its direct burn engine provides consistent, high-impact threat potential.
