Artifacts by lakes

Format: Commander

Commander: Iron Man, Master of Machines

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

An Izzet artifact-tempo deck built around Iron Man, Master of Machines, this list wins by chaining cheap artifact spells, cast-trigger draw engines, and Treasure production into an overwhelming artifact board. The commander flies, grows with the artifact count, and draws a card on attack whenever an artifact entered under your control that turn - a condition nearly every combat satisfies. The primary kill lines are a massive Cyberdrive Awakener turn that animates the entire artifact base, a pumped swarm led by Master of Etherium and Iron Man, Modern Marvel, and equipment voltron on the commander via The Reaver Cleaver, Nettlecyst, and Adaptive Omnitool. Draw engines like Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, Vedalken Archmage, Rhystic Study, and Mystic Remora keep the spells flowing, while Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man acts as a hidden second commander providing search and combat-phase cheating.
