Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos aristocrats build commanded by Gev, Scaled Scorch. The central game plan leverages Gev's ability to put +1/+1 counters on entering creatures whenever an opponent has lost life during the turn. By combining Gev with a persist creature like Putrid Goblin, Murderous Redcap, or Lesser Masticore and a free sacrifice outlet like Goblin Bombardment or Viscera Seer, the deck cancels out -1/-1 persist counters to establish an infinite sacrifice loop. Early turns focus on establishing cheap pingers to guarantee opponent life loss, deploying utility sacrifice outlets, and digging for persist pieces. When uninterrupted, the deck executes a same-turn table kill on Turn 5. It is supported by passive punisher creatures that tax opponents' life totals, although it features limited stack interaction and thin mana ramp.
