Niko's Disappearing Act (duplicated from Selh7) by Selh7

Format: Commander

Commander: Niko, Light of Hope

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Azorius blink/flicker deck helmed by Niko, Light of Hope, built around the Shard token engine she provides. The deck's primary game plan is to generate Shard tokens, convert them into copies of potent creatures via Niko's activated ability, and leverage the blink/flicker suite to repeatedly re-trigger enters-the-battlefield abilities. Soulherder, Abuelo, Ancestral Echo, Brago, King Eternal, and Yorion, Sky Nomad form the core of the engine, with token doublers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Anointed Procession multiplying the Shard count. The deck wins through combat with evasive flyers augmented by Drogskol Captain and Empyrean Eagle, plus value plays from Azor, the Lawbringer attacking triggers. Secondary synergies include token doubling, clone effects, and a light stax/protection package.
