Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kefka, Court Mage is a grixis spellslinger-control deck that uses the front face to strip opponents' hands and draw by discarded card type, while cheap noncreature spells feed Storm-Kiln Artist, Coruscation Mage, Talrand, and Archmage Emeritus. The primary win is an infinite loop with Displacer Kitten, Pinnacle Monk, Storm-Kiln Artist, Frantic Search, and Coruscation Mage; a Hullbreaker Horror + Sol Ring + Mana Vault line provides a second lock. Kefka's back face turns late-game life-loss into cards. The deck is resilient and heavily interactive, but it lacks mass protection and relies on a thin tutor package to assemble its engines.
