Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color artifact midrange build centered on Karn, Gilded Guardian. Its strategy revolves around establishing an early network of artifact lands, cost-reducing artificers, and mana rocks to deploy a dense board of artifact permanents and tokens. Mid-game turns focus on capitalizing on color diversity among artifacts to trigger Karn's card-draw ability, refueling the hand while setting up powerful synergies. The deck converts its board presence into victory through mass artifact animation and aggressive combat overruns using Cyberdrive Awakener, Krang, Utrom Warlord, and Alibou, Ancient Witness, dealing massive combat damage across multiple rotations. While the deck boasts high internal synergy, potent asymmetric sweepers like Organic Extinction, and explosive recursion via Wake the Past, it remains reliant on combat steps and vulnerable to mass artifact exile effects due to a lack of instant-speed countermagic.
