Oh my Boe! by user4300093

Format: Commander

Commander: The Face of Boe

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Face of Boe deck is built as a Jeskai suspend deck: tap Boe to cast suspend cards from hand, then use time-travel effects to shorten clocks and convert suspended spells into cards, mana, and huge creatures. The Tenth Doctor sits in the 99 as a hidden secondary suspend engine. Unfortunately, the decklist contains 56 Plains and no red or blue sources, so Boe, The Tenth Doctor, Ancestral Vision, Wheel of Fate, and nearly every engine card cannot be cast. In practice, the deck is a slow mono-white pile that can only execute a fragile Approach of the Second Sun plan, usually beyond turn fourteen.
