Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is piloted by Clavileño, First of the Blessed and operates as a resilient Vampire tribal aristocrats engine. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Vampires early, casting Clavileño on Turn 3, and attacking on Turn 4 to turn attacking Vampires into Demons. When these marked creatures die via combat or sacrifice outlets like Bartolomé del Presidio and Viscera Seer, they replace themselves with fresh cards and 4/3 flying Vampire Demon tokens. By Turn 6, the deck establishes an imposing aerial army supported by anthems and life-drain engines like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Sanctum Seeker. The deck also runs an incidental infinite combo with Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. It features strong resilience against destruction wipes due to Clavileño's death triggers, but it is vulnerable to exile-based removal and graveyard hate.
