Deck overview

This mono-blue deck uses Sai, Master Thopterist to convert cheap artifact spells into an army of 1/1 flying Thopters while drawing cards by sacrificing excess artifacts. The deck curves into efficient mana rocks and utility permanents on Turns 1 through 3, deploys Sai, and quickly builds a wide battlefield. In the midgame, repeatable card-draw engines like Shimmer Dragon and Vedalken Archmage keep resources flowing. The deck closes games by pumping the Thopter swarm with Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut, Forsaken Monument, or Master of Etherium, or by attacking with massive single threats like Kappa Cannoneer and Broodstar. Its interaction relies on a small suite of counterspells alongside high-impact colorless sweepers like All Is Dust.
