Deck overview

This deck is a Naya forced-combat aggro deck commanded by Marisi, Breaker of the Coil. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the opening turns, casting Marisi alongside cheap, unblockable, or shadow creatures, and repeatedly dealing combat damage to opponents. Connecting with an opponent triggers Marisi's ability, goading every creature that player controls while preventing opponents from casting spells during combat. This forces all three opponents to attack one another, rapidly depleting life totals and stripping away potential blockers. Meanwhile, the deck layers damage multipliers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Fiendish Duo, and Death Kiss, or global pump effects like Beastmaster Ascension and Gahiji, Honored One, to dramatically accelerate the clock. Once opponents weaken each other through mandatory combat, Marisi's army sweeps in to finish the surviving players. Robust protection spells safeguard the board against disruption, while backup goad engines ensure the combat lockdown persists even if Marisi is removed.
