Deck overview

This Golgari Elf tribal deck, helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves, is a wide-board token strategy that converts elf count into overwhelming mana and a life-drain finish. The core plan is to flood the board with cheap mana dorks and lords, swing with Lathril to generate Elf Warrior tokens, then either activate her tap-ten ability for 10 life per opponent or pivot into an infinite-mana combo. The primary win conditions are: (1) Lathril's activated drain with a critical mass of elves, (2) a lethal Finale of Devastation overrun with haste and trample, and (3) the Umbral Mantle + big mana dork Staff of Domination infinite-mana engine. With 13+ mana accelerants, a dense tutor package, and mass recursion in Bloodline Bidding and Kindred Summons, the deck ramps explosively and can pivot between beatdown and combo as the table dictates.
