Commander: Muddle, the Ever-Changing

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Muddle, the Ever-Changing is the shape-shifting linchpin of an Izzet Otter spells deck. The primary plan is to cast cheap instants and sorceries so Muddle becomes a copy of a nonlegendary payoff-Stormsplitter for a myriad token swarm or Storm-Kiln Artist for Treasures-and outlast opponents through repeated triggers. Secondary paths are direct damage from Guttersnipe and Coruscation Mage, plus card advantage from Archmage Emeritus, Harmonic Prodigy, and Valley Floodcaller. Kitsa, Otterball Elite acts as a hidden commander: her repeatable looting and spell-copy ability is a backup engine when Muddle is taxed. The deck wants one big turn, not a fast combo, and can pivot between attacking with myriad and burning.
