Deck overview

This deck is an Esper battlecruiser and control deck commanded by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign, built around manipulating the top of the library to cheat massive odd-mana-value spells into play for free. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks (Arcane Signet, Coalition Relic, Sol Ring) and library-sorting engines (Sensei's Divining Top, Aminatou, the Fateshifter, Soothsaying). Once Yennett hits the battlefield and attacks on Turn 5, it triggers to deploy game-warping odd-cost permanents like Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Breach the Multiverse. The deck exerts heavy asymmetric pressure through creature attrition and lockout effects while swinging with evasive Sphinxes and Eldrazi. Although it lacks cheap countermagic to defend Yennett from targeted removal and does not run fast-mana infinite combos, its topdeck card velocity and high-impact payoffs provide an overwhelming long-game advantage that reliably closes out tables across multiple combat rotations.
