Deck overview

This Azorius control deck utilizes the partner pairing of Alisaie Leveilleur and Alphinaud Leveilleur to generate continuous mana and card advantage through a 'second spell each turn' engine. Alisaie ensures early consistency by tutoring Alphinaud to hand upon entry and reducing the cost of subsequent spells by two mana. Once both commanders are deployed by Turn 4, the deck uses low-cost cantrips and interaction to draw extra cards and maintain board control. Disruptive permanents like Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, Teferi, Time Raveler, and Narset, Parter of Veils slow opposing momentum while defense cards like Propaganda and Farewell manage creature aggression. The deck establishes its primary win condition by resolving Approach of the Second Sun on Turn 7, leveraging heavy card velocity to redraw and recast it on Turn 8 for the victory, backed by countermagic and split-second protection.
