Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Treefolk tribal and big-mana stompy strategy commanded by Fangorn, Tree Shepherd. The early game focuses on accelerating mana through land-grant sorceries such as Nature's Lore, Cultivate, and Skyshroud Claim. By turns 4 and 5, the deck deploys high-toughness Treefolk and power-matters card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Tribute to the World Tree. Fangorn, Tree Shepherd grants vigilance to Treefolk and doubles mana generation during combat, storing unspent green mana across phases. This surplus mana fuels explosive mid-to-late turns where spells like Genesis Wave, Overwhelming Stampede, and Craterhoof Behemoth close the game via massive trample damage. The deck features high natural resilience against damage-based removal thanks to broad toughness stats and protection pieces like Timber Protector and Wrap in Vigor, though it remains susceptible to exile board wipes and early combo decks.
