Deck overview

This deck is a focused Orzhov Aristocrats and attrition strategy commanded by Liesa, Forgotten Archangel. The game plan revolves around casting early mana ramp and sacrifice fodder, resolving Liesa on Turn 4 or 5, and leveraging her asymmetric abilities to break parity. Liesa returns your dying nontoken creatures to your hand at the end step while exiling any opposing creatures that die. By looping self-sacrificing edict creatures like Accursed Marauder, Plaguecrafter, and Demon's Disciple, the deck systematically dismantles opposing creature boards while protecting its own resources. Life totals are drained steadily using aristocrats staples such as Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Bastion of Remembrance, amplified by trigger doublers like Teysa Karlov and Drivnod, Carnage Dominus. While the deck lacks fast combo finishes and stack counterplay, it excels at establishing dominant creature control, sustained card advantage, and inevitable multi-opponent drain.
