Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck leverages Loki, God of Mischief to convert low-cost targeting abilities into consistent, recurring card advantage. By activating repeatable 0-to-1 mana targeting artifacts such as Glasses of Urza, Codex Shredder, and Relic of Progenitus, Loki draws an extra card every turn. This constant card flow fuels powerful draw-triggered token generators including Minn, Wily Illusionist, Alandra, Sky Dreamer, and Detective of the Month. While assembling a wide board presence, the deck defends its life total with Propaganda and Dissipation Field and controls the stack with efficient countermagic like Counterspell and Negate. Once an overwhelming board of flying Drakes or unblockable Detectives is established, the deck closes the game through multi-draw team pumps, life drain from Psychosis Crawler, or an asymmetric Cyclonic Rift overload.
