Deck overview

This Jeskai Wizards deck, helmed by Gandalf, Party Guest, is a spell-slinging tempo-combo build that leverages legendary Wizards to cast instants and sorceries for free. The primary game plan is to assemble a critical mass of legendary Wizards, then use Gandalf's beginning-of-combat trigger to chain extra combat steps or extra turns, overwhelming opponents with repeated combat phases and spell recursion. The deck also contains an Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal infinite mana loop, which can fuel infinite activations of Aggravated Assault or any other spell. With a dense tutor package and strong draw engines, the deck consistently finds its key pieces and executes its win condition by turn 5-6 in the median game.
