Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black combo deck led by Gwenom, Remorseless. Gwenom acts as a Bolas's Citadel in the command zone whenever she attacks, allowing you to cast spells from the top of your library by paying life rather than mana. Supported by acceleration like Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, and Sol Ring, the deck aims to deploy Gwenom quickly, grant her haste with Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots, and immediately storm through the library. The primary win conditions consist of an infinite lifegain-and-drain loop using Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Bloodthirsty Conqueror, or Enduring Tenacity, as well as storming off with Aetherflux Reservoir and Sensei's Divining Top. Heavy tutor density guarantees consistent access to win conditions, while disruptive pieces like Opposition Agent and Winter Moon stall opposing strategies until you execute your lethal turn.
