Deck overview

This deck is a kindred midrange combat engine led by Loki, the Deceiver, leveraging Grixis colors to assemble an army of Marvel Villains. The primary game plan revolves around casting early-curve Villains with enter-the-battlefield, trigger, or connive abilities, deploying Loki on Turn 4, and attacking on Turn 5. Loki duplicates target Villains as attacking Illusion tokens while drawing cards whenever Villains connect with opponents. In the mid-to-late game, the deck scales aggressively by copying game-warping anchors like Radioactive Man, The Squadron Sinister, and Mysterio, Master of Illusion, overwhelming defenses through evasion, stat buffs, and combat damage. The deck features potent creature-based draw velocity and versatile permanent removal, though it remains vulnerable to sweepers due to a lack of stack counterspells.
