Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal stompy strategy commanded by Ureni of the Unwritten. The game plan focuses on rapid mana development through a dense suite of early ramp spells, mana dorks, and cost reducers. By Turn 4, the deck generates seven mana to cast Ureni, immediately triggering its ability to look at the top eight cards and put a high-impact Dragon onto the battlefield for free. On Turn 5, attacking with Ureni cheats another massive threat into play, compounding flying pressure and triggering explosive enter-the-battlefield abilities from cards like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Damage multipliers such as Atarka, World Render allow the deck to swing for lethal damage across all three opponents by Turn 6. While vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and counterspells, the deck features strong redundancy among its Dragons and recovers quickly through raw mana production.
