Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed cEDH Tempo and Burn strategy centered on Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary game plan establishes an evasive 0-or-1-drop creature on Turn 1, followed by a Turn 2 Commander Ninjutsu activation to put Yuriko directly into play tapped and attacking. Yuriko's ability bypasses the standard commander tax and normal spell counterspells, generating immediate card advantage while draining the entire table. By leveraging topdeck manipulation like Brainstorm, Scroll Rack, Vampiric Tutor, and Lim-Dûl's Vault, the deck repeatedly reveals massive-mana spells like Shadow of Mortality ({15}) and Temporal Trespass ({11}) to burn all opponents simultaneously. Meanwhile, the steady influx of cards fuels a dense network of zero-mana interaction—such as Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Snuff Out, and Deadly Rollick—allowing the deck to police fast combo decks and protect its aggressive clock until the table is eliminated around Turn 4 or 5.
