Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari graveyard swarm strategy helmed by The Mycotyrant. The primary plan fills the graveyard rapidly using dredge cards like Golgari Grave-Troll and continuous mill enablers like Perpetual Timepiece and Hermit Druid. Each permanent milled triggers the commander's descend ability, generating an escalating swarm of 1/1 Fungus tokens at every end step. Once a critical mass of tokens and graveyard cards accumulates, the deck transitions into lethal pressure through combat buffs like Beastmaster Ascension or aristocrat burn via Syr Konrad, the Grim, Mirkwood Bats, and Altar of Dementia. While the list features minimal instant-speed protection and stack interaction, its dense suite of reanimation spells and dredge recursion allows it to rebuild its engine almost immediately following board wipes.
