Deck overview

This Mono-Green Stompy deck accelerates into high-power, undercosted creatures to exploit the cost-reduction ability of Ghalta, Primal Hunger. By deploying early mana dorks into aggressive beaters like Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus, the deck reliably achieves 10 or more total power by Turn 3 or 4. This enables casting a 12/12 trample commander for as little as two green mana. Continuous draw engines like Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising convert these massive threats into sustained card flow. Combat finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth quickly scale the board to trample through blockers and close the game across Turns 5 to 7. While the deck boasts high internal redundancy and explosive beatdown capability, its game plan relies on maintaining creature presence on board, making it susceptible to well-timed sweepers and instant-speed removal.
