Format: Commander

Commander: The Chief Warg

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Golgari wolf deck builds a wide, high-power creature board and turns it into card draw with The Chief Warg's ferocious attack trigger. The primary plan is to develop a wolf token army and +1/+1-counter engines, then finish with a one-sided pump such as Triumph of the Hordes, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Germination Practicum, or Garruk Wildspeaker. Secondary paths include amassing a Goblins Army with Rage into the Valley and Gathering of Darkness, or using Dancing from Dark to Dawn to convert creature casts into huge board-wide stats. The commander is a repeatable draw engine from the command zone; there is no hidden commander. This is a midrange combat deck that wins by overwhelming damage, not by combo.
