Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Assassin kindred strategy commanded by Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The game plan revolves around leveraging Ezio's early presence to establish freerunning, cheating expensive Assassins onto the battlefield for just two black mana. It utilizes evasion equipment like Brotherhood Regalia and combat enablers like Cover of Darkness to push combat damage. The primary win condition involves lowering an opponent's life total to 10 or below, allowing Ezio's five-color trigger to eliminate them outright, which immediately secures a table victory if Ramses, Assassin Lord attacked that player in the same turn. The deck features strong thematic synergy and respectable combat-step card advantage through cards like Eagle Vision and Black Market Connections. However, its mana base faces color fixing strain when attempting to activate Ezio's WUBRG ability, and its reliance on combat connections leaves it vulnerable to widespread board wipes and dense creature boards.
