Pym's Participation Trophy by pfwg

Format: Commander

Commander: The Astonishing Ant-Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Single-faced Simic commander built around the 'draw a card = +1/+1 counter' axis. The primary plan is to land The Astonishing Ant-Man on turn two, keep drawing with Howling Mine, Kami, Rhystic Study, and cantrips, then convert stacked counters into an Insect army or use the Lyla/Pensive loop to draw the deck and win via Simic Ascendancy/Overwhelming Stampede. Secondary lines use Ant-Man, Colony Commander, Adrix and Nev, and Craterhoof. The commander is an outlet rather than the engine; none of the combo lines need him, so the deck retains a full plan even if he is never cast.
