Deck overview

This is a Mardu attack-trigger midrange deck helmed by Isshin, Two Heavens as One, who copies every trigger that fires when a creature attacks. The ninety-nine pairs that doubling with a deep Equipment package, go-wide token makers, and three extra-combat creatures, so a single declare-attackers step snowballs into extra combats, extra tokens, and extra sword value. Primary wins are combat: a wide board of Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Hero of Bladehold tokens crashing in across chained combats, or a suited legendary - often Cloud, Planet's Champion or Isshin himself - converting Equipment into a one-turn clock. A single two-card combo, Helm of the Host on Aurelia, the Warleader, produces infinite combats as a backup. Isshin is the force multiplier rather than a hidden commander; the deck still attacks, equips, and assembles Helm-Aurelia if he is answered, but every attack trigger is half as good until he returns. Recasting him is cheap at three mana, then five.
