Deck overview

This mono-black deck focuses on hand disruption, resource attrition, and card theft. Led by Tinybones, Bauble Burglar, the strategy turns discard spells into an expanding pool of stolen cards in exile. In the early game, you cast cheap discard creatures like Burglar Rat and Virus Beetle to strip resources from all three opponents at once. Tinybones, Bauble Burglar exiles these cards with stash counters, allowing you to cast them on your turn using mana of any color. As opponents empty their hands, you gain substantial card advantage and board presence. Win conditions include growing Tourach, Dread Cantor into a massive attacker, crippling enemy boards with Archfiend of Ifnir, cutting life totals with Scytheclaw, or deploying powerful stolen threats. The deck excels at grinding down opposing strategies but lacks fast combo finishes, counterspells, and instant-speed artifact or enchantment removal. It rewards patient pilots who manage life totals and maintain steady discard pressure.
