Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Grixis Villain kindred and discard-synergy midrange strategy commanded by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The deck curve deploys early Villain creatures and artifact mana on Turns 1 through 3, establishing board presence before casting Doctor Doom on Turn 4. Once Doom is on the battlefield, each combat step grants a Villain menace and connive, smoothing draws, growing attackers with +1/+1 counters, and burning opponents whenever land cards are discarded. In the midgame, the deck compounds pressure using token generators such as Ultron, Unlimited and Madame Hydra, alongside mass pump and evasion enablers like The Squadron Sinister and Titania, Proud Pummeler. It leverages efficient spot removal and asymmetrical sweepers like Kindred Dominance to clear blocking paths while closing games through aggressive, evasive combat damage over two to three attack cycles.
