Deck overview

This deck is a five-color combo and storm strategy built around Codie, Ravenous Codex and creatures with prepare spells. The deck curves into early mana enablers like Bloom Tender and Faeburrow Elder before deploying Codie on Turn 3. Once Codie is active, casting any prepared spell creates an immediate free copy, turning single-mana spells into game-warping bursts of card advantage and mana generation. The primary win condition revolves around assembling Codie, Chakram Retriever, and a multi-mana dork. Casting any prepared spell triggers Chakram Retriever to untap the mana source, which then pays for Codie's activated ability to re-prepare every creature. This creates an infinite loop of mana, card draw, and burn through Emeritus of Conflict or drain through Stensian Sanguinist. Defensive pieces like Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar protect the combo turn from opposing interaction.
