Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a synergistic Boros tribal aggro deck built entirely around Dwarves, Equipment, and Treasure generation. The game plan focuses on curving out low-cost Dwarves—including a full playset of seven Seven Dwarves—before deploying Thorin on Turn 4 or 5. Thorin immediately converts every subsequent Dwarf into a Treasure token while granting the entire army an escalating power buff equal to your artifact token count. The deck converts this wide, tall board into decisive combat pressure between Turns 6 and 8, leveraging combat multipliers like Reyav, Master Smith, Dáin Ironfoot, and Kindred Charge. While the list lacks high-density fast mana and stack interaction, it features durable board-protection staples such as Boros Charm and Clever Concealment to defend against sweepers. With flexible removal, incidental card filtering, and potent goad finishers like Taunt from the Rampart, the deck delivers an explosive, cohesive combat experience true to classic Dwarven lore.
