Commander: Citizen V, Helmut Zemo

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Citizen V, Helmut Zemo leads a mono-black Villain typal deck centered on aggressive lifegain and board-wide stat buffs. Every time life is gained, Citizen V places a plus-one plus-one counter on every Villain under your control. The primary strategy swarms the battlefield with synergistic Villain creatures and token generators, converting regular lifegain triggers from combat and drain permanents into rapid team-wide power escalation. Secondary paths include steady group life drain via cards like Doom Reigns Supreme and Ayara, First of Locthwain, as well as the infinite drain combo of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond to close long games.
