Venser, Corpse Puppet by Ruusan

Format: Commander

Commander: Venser, Corpse Puppet

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Venser, Corpse Puppet fuels a poison/proliferate game plan. The commander both creates The Hollow Sentinel, a sacrificeable artifact creature, and grants evasion/lifelink to artifact creatures, turning each proliferate into board presence or a combat threat. The deck's primary path is layering poison counters on all opponents with toxic/infect creatures and spells, then repeated proliferation; a secondary path is a lean infinite-proliferate loop using Dross Scorpion, Throne of Geth, and Venser, with Scheming Aspirant or poison as the payoff. Planeswalkers and artifact synergies provide card advantage, tokens, and an alternate planeswalker-ultimate finish. No hidden commander exists; both faces of Clearwater Pathway are just lands.
