Deck overview

This Boros deck combines political 'hot potato' donate mechanics with temporary creature theft. Helmed by Zidane, Tantalus Thief, the deck converts giving away permanents into continuous Treasure production and card flow. Early turns focus on deploying donate enablers like Humble Defector, Yes Man, Personal Securitron, and Stiltzkin, Moogle Merchant, or establishing ramp with Claim Jumper and Knight of the White Orchid. Once Zidane enters on Turn 5, the deck pivots into an aggressive midrange strategy. It steals opposing threats with cards like Mass Mutiny and Firbolg Flutist, unleashes autonomous beaters like Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, and drains life totals using Jinxed Idol and Witch Hunt. A robust instant-speed removal suite keeps opponents off balance, while Brand offers a surprise blowout by reclaiming all gifted permanents.
