Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Dimir control deck built around Toxrill, the Corrosive, leveraging its ability to gradually weaken opponents' creatures with slime counters and generate tokens for card advantage. The deck employs a heavy -1/-1 counter and proliferate theme to maintain board control, with multiple board wipes and death-trigger drains as primary win conditions. The commander serves as both a persistent board control engine and a card draw source, making it the linchpin of the strategy. The deck wins by grinding out the table with Exsanguinate, Blood Artist/Falkenrath Noble triggers, or the incremental drain from Massacre Wurm and Scheming Aspirant. It is a slow, methodical control deck that aims to out-value opponents through repeated board wipes and token generation.
