Deck overview

Gwenom, Remorseless helms a mono-Black life-drain deck that weaponises every point of life gained or spent. The commander turns attack steps into impulse-draw engines, letting you play from the top of your library and pay life instead of mana. The primary win is an infinite life-gain/life-loss loop built around Exquisite Blood plus Sanguine Bond, Enduring Tenacity, or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. The deck also assembles massive storm turns with Bolas's Citadel and Aetherflux Reservoir, and it can finish with Exsanguinate, Bond of Agony, or Sorin's Vengeance. Recursion via Reanimate and Animate Dead plus soft protection spells help the plan execute even through early disruption. The commander is a strong value engine, but many draw sources and the Exquisite/Sanguine loop can function without her.
