Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elf tribal strategy led by Thranduil, the Elvenking, blending classic go-wide aggression with graveyard ability theft. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through premiere Elf dorks like Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, and Devoted Druid, while selectively milling or tutoring high-impact Elves into the graveyard with cards like Buried Alive and Fauna Shaman. Once Thranduil enters the battlefield, he inherits every activated ability in the graveyard. This turns him into a versatile engine capable of generating explosive mana, buffing the team, or executing an infinite mana and power loop with Devoted Druid and Immaculate Magistrate. If the combo is interrupted, the deck seamlessly pivots to an aggressive token swarm supported by lords, reanimation via Bloodline Bidding, and lethal trample overruns using Overwhelming Stampede or Banner of Kinship. While vulnerable to mass graveyard exile and creature wipes, its redundant engines and low curve ensure rapid recovery and consistent mid-game pressure.
