rona back from the dead v2.0 Aug 26 by Baron_Buchanan

Format: Commander

Commander: Rona, Herald of Invasion // Rona, Tolarian Obliterator

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a UB reanimator/control hybrid. Rona's front face is the early looting engine that stocks the graveyard, while her back face is a late-game value transformation. The deck's primary plan is to discard large creatures (Archon, Jin-Gitaxias, Tidespout, Hullbreaker), then reanimate them ahead of curve, protect the board with counters, and close with mass reanimation plus extra combat turns. A secondary bounce engine uses Tidespout Tyrant and Hullbreaker Horror to reset opponents' permanents. The deck is built almost entirely for the front face; transformation is incidental.
