Marchesa's Modular Assassin's by user9959815

Format: Commander

Commander: Marchesa, the Black Rose

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis Marchesa deck is a modular +1/+1 counter grind deck that uses artifacts to generate incremental advantage. Marchesa, the Black Rose gives every creature dethrone and recurs any creature that dies with a +1/+1 counter at the next end step, turning sacrifice outlets and modular deaths into card advantage. The primary plan is to build a board of Arcbound creatures, Steel Overseer and proliferate effects, then win through large combat or Marionette Apprentice drain with Goblin Bombardment and Ashnod's Altar. Secondary paths are Kappa Cannoneer beatdown and Bolas's Citadel value. Scrap Trawler acts as hidden commander, looping cheap artifacts with Junk Diver and Buried Ruin.
