Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered competitive Commander (cEDH) combo list utilizing Scion of the Ur-Dragon at the helm. It is primarily built to execute lightning-fast, compact wins via Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation, or alternatively through Underworld Breach storm loops with Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond. The deck is backed by premier fast mana (Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, Dark Ritual), dense universal tutors, and top-tier card draw engines like Mystic Remora and Rhystic Study. It protects its win turns using format-staple silence effects (Silence, Orim's Chant, Veil of Summer) and free countermagic (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Pact of Negation). When primary lines are contested, Scion of the Ur-Dragon provides instant utility by transforming into powerhouse Dragons such as Dragonlord Dromoka for uncounterable spell lockouts or Ancient Copper Dragon for massive resource generation.
