Deck overview

This deck is a five-color artifact typal control deck commanded by Reaper King. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana early with artifact ramp and cost reducers to cast Reaper King ahead of curve. Once the commander is on the battlefield, every subsequent Scarecrow or changeling creature triggers a targeted permanent destruction ability. The deck leverages multi-creature blink spells such as Eerie Interlude and Semester's End, token copying effects like Reflections of Littjara, and blowout sorceries like a kicked Rite of Replication to repeatedly clear opposing boards, including lands and key engines. Supporting artifact synergies provide card flow through Guardian Project, Black Market Connections, and Canoptek Spyder, while Padeem, Consul of Innovation and Cavern of Souls protect key pieces from removal and countermagic. As opponents are systematically stripped of resources, the deck secures victory through uncontested combat damage with its amplified Scarecrow army or artifact-fueled drain from Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge.
