Deck overview

This deck is a five-color tribal aggro deck commanded by Sliver Hivelord. The strategy curves low-cost Slivers into powerful tribal lords that share abilities across the entire creature base, turning every permanent into an evasive, lethal threat. The commander grants blanket indestructible protection to the entire team, rendering the board immune to damage and destroy-based sweepers. Mana dorks like Manaweft Sliver and Gemhide Sliver fix five-color requirements, while engines like The First Sliver, Sliver Overlord, and Thrumming Hivepool provide explosive creature development. Finishers such as Bonescythe Sliver, Shifting Sliver, and Cathars' Crusade enable the deck to close out games over two to three attack steps. The deck defends its board with instant-speed protection like Clever Concealment and clears opposing defenses using asymmetric sweepers like Raise the Palisade and Kindred Dominance. Its primary vulnerabilities stem from tap-land tempo loss and mass exile or bounce spells.
