Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck commands the skies under Lathliss, Dragon Queen, turning high-cost Dragon spells into overwhelming airborne board states. The deck accelerates mana in the early turns using rocks and tribal cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Dragonlord's Servant. By Turn 5, it deploys Lathliss, followed immediately on Turn 6 by heavy-hitting Dragons such as Utvara Hellkite, Scourge of Valkas, and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames. Each subsequent Dragon triggers Lathliss to create an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token, rapidly assembling a lethal aerial armada. Force multipliers like Dragon Tempest, Terror of Mount Velus, and Desert Were-Worm translate this board presence into decisive damage across multiple combat steps. While vulnerable to sweepers and lacking stack protection, the deck maintains resilience through standalone flying bombs that apply immense pressure even without the commander.
