Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats deck helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The primary strategy is to sacrifice creatures for value, generating card draw, Treasure tokens, and incremental life loss through death-trigger payoffs such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance. The commander transforms after four death triggers, granting an emblem that doubles the drain effect. The deck contains several infinite combos (e.g., Gravecrawler + sacrifice outlet + drain effect, or Pitiless Plunderer + Reassembling Skeleton + outlet for infinite mana into Gray Merchant of Asphodel). The win condition is assembling an infinite loop to drain the table. The deck also has a backup value plan of accumulating card advantage via Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Braids, Arisen Nightmare, and Morbid Opportunist, then overwhelming opponents with repeated sacrifice and recursion.
