Deck overview

Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver is a blue-black Zombie aristocrats-combo deck. Wilhelt's decayed-token generation and end-step sacrifice draw make him the primary engine: he creates fodder, turns on Gravecrawler, and replaces dead creatures with cards. The main kill is Gravecrawler plus Phyrexian Altar (or Ashnod's with Rooftop Storm) and a drain effect such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Diregraf Captain. A secondary line is Rooftop Storm plus Acererak the Archlich, converted by Bontu's Monument or Aetherflux Reservoir. The deck also has a Zombie-lord beatdown fallback. There is no hidden commander; Acererak is a powerful combo piece, not a build-around general.
