Deck overview

This mono-red deck executes an aggressive Dragon tribal strategy led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary plan accelerates mana during turns one through three using cost-reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and artifacts like Ruby Medallion to deploy Lathliss on turn four. Once Lathliss enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token. The deck leverages enter-the-battlefield burn from Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest to pressure life totals while assembling an aerial army. Haste enablers such as The Fire Crystal and Sneak Attack allow threats like Utvara Hellkite and Terror of Mount Velus to attack immediately. While the list lacks infinite combos and stack countermagic, it defends key pieces with Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend, using mass damage from Balefire Dragon and Blasphemous Act to clear opposing boards before closing the game on turn seven.
