Deck overview

This Captain America, First Avenger deck is a high-power Jeskai equipment and artifact combo build. It uses format-ceiling fast mana like Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox, and Mishra's Workshop to deploy the commander and high-mana-value equipment ahead of curve. Captain America bypasses heavy equip costs with his Catch ability at combat, turning massive artifacts like Excalibur, Sword of Eden and Kaldra Compleat into free combat buffs and 12-damage direct burn triggers through Throw. To close out games, the deck pivots between explosive combat finishes via Akroma's Will, board-wide burn through Chandra's Ignition, and an infinite colorless mana loop using Grim Monolith and Power Artifact to throw equipment infinitely. Dense silence effects, free countermagic, and Sunforger toolboxes ensure the deck develops safely while disrupting opposing game plans.
