Deck overview

This deck transforms Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist's ability-erasing clause into a powerful advantage. By reanimating massive creatures with severe drawbacks—such as Death's Shadow, Phyrexian Soulgorger, and Hunted Horror—Xu-Ifit strips away their negative text while retaining their enormous power and toughness. The deck populates the graveyard early through self-mill, cycling, and targeted creature tutors, then taps Xu-Ifit on Turn 4 to put an 8/8 to 13/13 creature onto the battlefield for free. It converts this immense power into card advantage with sacrifice drawers like Disciple of Bolas and pushes lethal combat damage using Filth for unblockable attacks. A deep suite of one-mana protection instants keeps Xu-Ifit and key beaters resilient against removal, restoring the creatures' original printed abilities whenever they return from the graveyard.
